Pregnancy Update

How far along? 31 weeks.

Total weight gain: 20ish lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yes. But I can luckily still wear most of my wardrobe.

Stretch marks? None!!!

Sleep: Like sleeping on a bag of rocks most nights. But less frequent bathroom breaks! (Victory dance)

Miss anything? Abs- Getting off the couch sometimes is quite the feat. Normal bra sizes, and jacuzzi's (as of late.)  WINTER=JACUZZI       PREGNANCY=NO JACUZZI.

Movement: Oh this chica of mine has got some serious moves!

Cravings: Apples, PB & honey sandwiches, and salt and vinegar chips.

Anything make you queasy or sick? The thought of giving birth. And raw chicken.

Symptoms: Tiredness, complete and utter joy, and the occasional headache.

Wedding ring on or off? On!

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!!! We can't wait to meet our little princess!

Looking forward to: Baby showers!

Also, my parents came up for the weekend to bring up our crib and to party for Jaren's birthday. I sure do love that family of mine!

Setting up the crib.

Such a proud Daddy-to-be!

VOILA!!! (Thanks Mom & Dad!)

We think we're pretty funny.....The workers at the restaurant, however, probably don't.

Also, this is a real thing. And did we use it? HECK YEAH!  Perks like this make up for all those nasty pregnancy symptoms.

The Day of Looooooooove.

Yeah I know this is a week late (I'm horrible at blogging lately), and you can call me a sap, but I LOVE Valentine's Day.

Maybe it's because I have a handsome man that I get to share it with EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

Of course I was spoiled and we had a fantastic day and night. (I'll spare you the mushy details.)

Ooh la la..

Also, if you want a good laugh, check out some of these awesome Valentines one of my favorite bloggers shared on this magical day.  (They're a lot funnier if there's a bun in your oven.)

Hope your Love-Day was great!

Memory Lane

Two years ago today, my life changed FOREVER.  I was at a church function (near the dessert table, suprise suprise), when this boy came up and starting flirting with me. Little did I know that he was actually teaching his socially awkward roomate how to talk to girls...I was Exhibit A.

I would never have guessed that this 10 minute conversation would eventually make me the happiest girl in the world.

I love the month of January, because it's the anniversary for a lot of our "firsts."

January 9- First time meeting.
January 11- First unofficial lunch date at Subway.
January 15- First real date.
January 29- First kiss.

I'm sad that I didn't get to do a blog post on my actual anniversary a few weeks ago, but I am NOT sad that we got to celebrate on a cruise ship. (More pics of that fabulous trip to come.)

Anniversary dinner on the ship!

Happy Anniversary Babe!

Thank you for:
Putting up with my need to constantly decorate our little home.
Being so sweet in the mornings when I'm so cranky.
Starting the car in the morning before I go to work so it's toasty warm (and scraping the windshield!)
Doing the dishes EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT after dinner.
Doing SO well and working SO hard in school....All A's last semester! (While working too!)
Not judging my love (more like an obsession) of ice cream.
Still thinking I'm hot pregnant. Even though I don't feel too smokin' sometimes.
Laughing at my jokes.
Giving me the benefit of the doubt when I tell you the same story more than once. (This is a common occurrence.)
Letting me have all the drawers in the bathroom, and most of the closet space.
Always smelling so yummy.
Being my guinea pig when I try new recipes.
Giving the best hugs when I've had a bad day.
Being so excited about being a daddy.
Making me the happiest girl on earth.
Marrying me.

Here's to many, many, many more years.

BORING.

Certain things in life are BORING.

Waiting in lines?

BORING.

Watching boys play video games?

BORING.

Waiting on hold?

BORING.

I honestly don't know a single person that likes boring things. I hate them as a matter of fact.

Well, today I had my 24 week appointment (that's 6 months for those of you who don't want to do the math. :)  The doc came in to check out me and my baby and when he was all done he said...

"Well, everything is pretty BORING."  B.O.R.I.N.G!  It took me back for a second, but I sure am grateful for my boring pregnancy. It just means that everything is better than dandy. Boring may not be so bad after all. :)

I just love this baby girl so much. Even when she decides to do gymnastics when I'm trying to sleep :)
