SUMMA TIME

The summer was spent in Bakersfield, CA. I wasn't looking forward to being away from my friends and family for the summer, especially now that Callie had arrived, and since Cameron was going to be working long days selling pest control. Surprisingly, the summer flew by (I prayed it would), and the last few days there I was actually feeling sad it was over!
Here's some things we did A LOT of this summer:
(Disclaimer: 4 months of no blogging=LOTS of pictures.)

Sweating.

This was taken on our way to DINNER. I was not a fan of this, especially because I was still fighting with my nasty preggo hormones that upped my body temp. a million degrees. Always.

So, naturally I ate 20 of these a day.

And one can't forget our morning pool parties. This may have been my favorite thing this summer.

Those crazy pest boys.

I love Nicole!

The cutest beach babe I've ever seen.

And thank heavens for friends that liked shopping as much as I did.  There were plenty of mall trips to make the long days with out our Mr.'s go a little faster.  Sorry for spending all your hard earned money, boys!

There were TONS of good chats with these pretty ladies. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them this summer. Forever friendships made right hurrrr. Love them!

And lots of eating out.

Such an amazing group of people. Can't wait to cruise with them in January!

Tanner and Alli are the cutest. We sure miss them! Darn Provo.

This is probably one of my FAVE pics of Callie. Miss grumpy gills was sick of being dragged from dinner, to the mall, to ice cream. Oh I could squeeze her all day long.

And maybe a little too much Netflix.

Parenthood, Lost, Revenge, New Girl...just to name a few.

And definitely A TON of knocking doors.  Poor guys. I complained about the heat when I went to get the mail for two seconds, and these boys were walking around in it all day! Yuck!

I looked forward to his snap chats and texts.  I sure spent a lot of time missing this hunk all day.

And one can't forget the most important thing we did all summer, snuggle our sweet bebe.  She hardly ever got put down.....annnnddd the best snuggler award goes to......CALLIE. She sure made it hard to get stuff done. (Hence the amount of Netflix I watched.. :/) Sorry, I'm not sorry.

See? I told you. And this is probably 1/100 of the photos of her being so sweet.
Ok. Here are a few more.

Mmmm. She's so yummy.

We're so grateful for such amazing boys that loved our babe too! She was always being stolen from me.  (Not for too long though.)

Weekends. I lived for them.
Luckily, the Mr. only had to work until 3 on Saturdays, (sounds horrible, but it was pretty awesome when he worked until 9 or 10 every other night.)

We were able to sneak away on a few weekend trips, and hot dang, we needed these.

Callie's first time to the beach. She was thrilled.
A beach in Santa Barbara.

Such a good traveler. Dos cheeks!

Pebble Beach in Monterey.

Loving some daddy time in our hotel.

The gorgeous guest house at the Nash home.

Over the 4th, we went down to SoCal to visit Cam's Aunt Anita and Uncle Robin. We sure love them! (And Anita's famous cookies. I might have gained 5 lbs.)

We went to the mall and got Callie's ears pierced! Cameron is so manly, so he held her, while I left the store. Too much for me. But she sure looks cute!

Relaxin' in their gorgeous backyard.

We went down again in August to say hi again! They can't keep us away that easily.

Cam was a groomsman in our friend Kyle's wedding. It was great to see him and his new bride, and to be apart of such a gorgeous wedding.

 I mean....c'mon.

My loves.

It's as gorgeous in person.

In July I was able to fly to Salt Lake to visit my family. The plan was to surprise my mom, and oh boy. It was amazing.
My dad, Jaren, and Kassie were in on it and we got her good. My dad picked me up at the airport and on the way to their house I called my mom. We normally talk multiple times throughout the day, and I wasn't about to let her think something was up. I told her I was at the grocery store...muahahaha...

Jaren and Kassie met us right as we pulled into my parent's house, we put Callie on the porch with my phone in her car seat to record my mom's reaction, rang the door bell, and hid.

 Epic.

Lots of happy tears, and loves.

A good friend from Grants Pass was in town too, so we met up and went to dinner. SOOO great to see Karli and her sweet Brody boy.

Callie and Oscar having a stare down. He wasn't sure what to think of this "other animal"... I think he was just jealous that she got most of the attention.

Smiles for grandpa.

This grandma was in heaven.

We love these two goof balls. I guess we just have to be neighbors when we're grown up!

And then the summer was over.  It ended with a bang when I got to fly out to Arizona for my cousin's farewell. I wouldn't have missed it for the world, and the people in the Legaspi, Philippines are so lucky to have someone so amazing serve them!

Snugglin' with Uncle Jare-bear.

We love you Lexie!

I was also able to see one of my good friends Summer and her sweet girl Lexie when we were in AZ.  I've missed Summer since she moved from Rexburg, so it was great to catch up!

And back to Salt Lake to meet the hubs, and then homeward bound to Rexburg!!

Did I mention that she did AMAZING on all FOUR plane rides this summer? Because she did.

Whirlwind

The 2 weeks after our sweet babe was born was quite the whirlwind! Cam's sister Kate, and her husband Jake, decided to get married the day AFTER Callie's due date... (Little stinkers...) But we're SOOOO happy it worked out to be induced the week before. We made the trip down to Salt Lake, and it was a beautiful day, Kate was a STUNNING bride, and these two love birds were so giddy all day.

It was so fun visiting with family, and showing off our perfect, new babe.

Literally as we were leaving for Salt Lake, Callie's doctor called and said that her jaundice levels were too high, so we had to rent the Bili blanket and keep her on the lights 24/7.  It was kind of a pain, but someone was always snuggling her, so it wasn't too bad.

My little glow worm.

Callie's Blessing Day
April 28, 2013

We were able to work it out with our ward and my parents ward to have Callie's blessing down in Salt Lake. It was great for Cameron's family to kill two birds with one stone and have the wedding and the blessing all in one weekend.

We were SOOOOOO grateful to our friends and family who traveled to be apart of our special day. My angel baby was perfect the whole time, and Cam did an amazing job. The water works were a flowin'.

Such a special day.

Because she was only 1 week old when we blessed her, we had to buy the smallest size of dress...2XS, and it still drowned her. But I think she looks pretty perfect.

Thanks to Aunt Kass for being my photographer!

I think this pic is the sweetest.

After our wonderful (and exhausting) weekend, we headed back to Rexburg to pack.

We decided to go to Bakersfield, CA for the summer, so Cameron could do summer sales.. (post about the summer coming soon.)

The day before we left the Mr. got SO sick! Besides the constant puking and....other stuff...I think the hardest part for him was not being able to love on Callie.  In my 3 years of knowing him, I have NEVER seen him like this, so when the babe slept, we laid in bed and watched the top 100 songs of the early 2000's.  Memory lane. (It sounds silly, and even though my hubs was SO sick, this was a good day, and we loved it.)

His birthday was the next day, so we loaded up the car, and drove to Salt Lake to party with my fam, and say good bye for the summer.

Sooo appetizing after having the flu.

So. Much. Stuff.  It's a good thing Cam's a MASTER packer.

Getting some snuggles at the gas station.

And we made it!!!

13 hours later... we were pooped, but Callie was a champ!

Ooh, that face!

Back from the dead...

Well bloggers... My blog is actually alive. Amazing, I know. I've been such a slacker, but every free moment I have is spent napping, cleaning, cooking, napping some more, and loving on this sweet girl...

I mean, look how perfect she is.

So, I have about a million blog posts in the works.. (I HATE playing catch-up).  Dang you Instagram. You make it so easy to do a fast update, from my phone, because we all know I take at lease 100 pictures a day.

So stay tuned for posts from the last six months. (Big sigh.)

Oh, and here's a few more pics of my blue-eyed little lady. Ahhh that face. No wonder I don't get in the shower until 2:00 some days. Again, perfection.
